We don’t know who you are.
And we’d like to keep it that way.
The short version
We don’t know who you are
When you pay at the machine, all we see is the card brand and the first and last four digits of the number. We don’t get your name, your zip code, or anything else that points to you.
Nayax handles your card
Nayax runs the card reader and processes the payment under its own privacy policy. Your full card number never reaches us, and your statement says Nayax, not Kink Dispenser.
This website doesn’t track you
No cookies, no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking pixels.
Nothing to sell
We don’t sell personal information, mostly because we don’t have any of yours.
When you pay with a card
Card payments at the Kink Dispenser are processed by Nayax, the payment company that runs the machine’s card reader. Nayax reads your card to complete the payment. According to Nayax’s privacy policy, it keeps a partial card number (as card-industry security rules require), which machine was used, what was purchased, the amount, and when and where the purchase happened. Nayax handles this on our behalf as our payment processor.
About that “where”: the location saved for the machine in Nayax is deliberately not set to the address of the event it’s at. Call it privacy, security, or healthy paranoia, Nayax’s records don’t show where an event was held.
What we can see in our Nayax account is limited to the card brand (Visa, Mastercard, and so on), the first four and last four digits of the card number, the amount, and the time. There is no way for us to connect a purchase to a name or any other personal information. On your card or bank statement, the charge appears as Nayax, not Kink Dispenser.
We use that transaction information for two things only:
- Accounting for the money raised, so the event and its cause get accurate numbers. The fundraising reports we share and publish contain amounts, fees, and totals, never card details.
- Fixing problems. If the machine takes your payment without dispensing a Kink, we may ask for the card brand, the last four digits, and the approximate time so we can find the transaction and make it right.
Community tokens involve no payment and no information at all.
When you visit this website
This site sets no cookies and has no accounts, sign-up forms, analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels.
Like nearly every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time) to keep the site running and secure. We don’t use them to identify visitors.
Everything on this site, including its fonts, is served from our own server. Visiting it doesn’t contact Google, Facebook, or any other outside service.
Links to our Facebook page take you to Facebook, which has its own privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.
Adults only
The Kink Dispenser and this website are for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
Your privacy questions
Because Nayax processes card payments on our behalf, questions or requests about a Kink Dispenser purchase start with us. Email kink@kinkdispenser.org and we’ll help, including working with Nayax if needed.
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date below.
